So good to see the decline in numbers on the scale. But we know it’s not all about the scale. Getting back into focus on my health. Being more mindful of what goes in, and how much. Dinner is still a free for all shitstorm but the macros are balanced and there is some good whole grains, protein, fibre and fats in there. The rest of the day is a well planned menu of smaller portions and techniques I employed whilst quitting smoking. Distract, drink water, consider where the deeper need is coming from and what it is really saying. “I’m bored… I need reward… “
