Good day, my friends! Here is today's word of encouragement:
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that "The tongue has the power of life and death..." James explains this a little deeper in the third chapter of his book.
How any of us look in the mirror and say things like, FAT, UGLY, UNATTRACTIVE, USELESS, DISGUSTING, UNWANTED, UNDESIRABLE, so on and so on...This is death.
It is so important that we speak "life" to ourselves. Even in the secular world, the experts talk about the benefits of positive speech.
Imagine what would happen if when we would look at ourselves, we would say things like, ATTRACTIVE, HEALTHY, HIGH METABOLISM, SELF-DISCIPLINE...
Stop the excuses and negativity and declare the promises of God!
Jesus and I think YOU are pretty AWESOME!!!
