Scale just not budging, but at least I'm getting in more exercise than I ever have before. Muscle weighs more than fat, right? :)

Sorry dear A POUND IS A POUND.....BUT......SMILE......Hard muscle shapes a lot better than soft, puffy fat. Are you using a tape measure? You will probaly see better results in inches lost when the scales won't move.

Oh yeah. I've lost two inches in waist, two in hips, and three in thighs, since February. So all's good. *grin* I prefer pounds of muscle over pounds of fat any day.

Muscle DOES weigh more than fat by volume. The "a pound is a pound" thing is a complete misnomer and I don't know why so many people use that when you tell them muscle weighs more than fat (sorry nonna). http://www.google.com/imgres?q=pound+of+muscle+pound+of+fat&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1003&bih=567&tbm=isch&tbnid=8gea6kXqodqN3M:&imgrefurl=http://www.brookjay.net/random.html&ei=BDmdTe6EGOHx0gGsvsnlAg&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=234&oei=BDmdTe6EGOHx0gGsvsnlAg&page=1&tbnh=104&tbnw=175&start=0&ndsp=14&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0&tx=108&ty=52
Because of that you may not see movement on the scale, but you may be losing body fat and gaining lean muscle mass. Make sure you are taking your measurements, and you can track them along with your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass at a site such as this one: http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html
My signature also has info on my weights and sizes that a lot of people tell me is interesting. The number on the scale just doesn't really matter.

Don't know why the links won't show, but Google "pound of muscle, pound of fat." The other link is just scientificpsychic dot com/fitness/diet dot html
