Have yet another funeral in my immediate family. This time an uncle on my Dad's side. That is way too many since December. So far I have lost my father, my stepmother, my Godmother Aunt and now her husband. I think that someone forgot to tell them this is not a follow the leader game.
Throw in that my Mom's best friend and my playmate from childhood's wife. Then my sister lost her mother in law as well. I feel like I live at the funeral homes these days. Is that what happens when you reach 50 somethi

It has been a rough nine months to say the least! I am finally noticing that my shoulder seems mended...though I haven't tried jumping rope again lately. Been wrapped up in things at church as well...so that adds to the stress. Seems weird...in many ways since my baptism in July I have not felt as much peace in my life...but then that ugly devil tries to stick his fingers in everything and tries to bring me away from that peace. I won't let him succeed though. He can take that awful fat monster along for the ride out of my life.
With God all things are possible. Even getting through all these losses.
