Ok, (MALE MEMBERS! - probably NOT for you today!)

Found myself working out at the gym yesterday morning...when all of a sudden I thought... 'did I just start my period?' ... No, couldn't be... I haven't had one since October... OH MY GOD!!! ...YES I DID! Get me off this machine...

What an utter nightmare! Mortified! Totally and Completely Mortified!

Enough said!

Outside of that... my day yesterday was pretty good, but it took me hours to get over the emotions of that one single moment! I got in the car, called my husband, cried all the way home... and then got in the shower.

Heading back to the gym today... sure hope nobody looks at me funny - cause I may never go back if they do! LOL!!!

Eating/Water/Exercise... all on track! *mostly, anyway!

Much Love!

Oh Paula...I am sure you were mortified, but I am just as sure, no one even noticed. You will be fine at the gym today...and pretty sure that majority of us women have experienced a similar "Moment"...totally not a "Hallmark"! Much Love and Hugs...hope your day is filled with laughter and love.

I think we have all been caught "off guard" at least once in our lives. I can't really remember any of them being that traumatic. I don't think anyone at the gym probably even noticed. Hope your today is better for ya!

Oh I hate that for ya. Probably no one noticed as they were to busy doing their own thing. On our way home the other day we stopped at a rest area and I went in and there was a women with her pants down and running water over a paper towel. Well she had done the same only in her car. She was totally upset and kept apoligizing for me seeing her that way. Really it did not bother me as much as it did her. Bless her heart. Things happen its just life. Enjoy your day my friend....Bren

Paula, do I hear you. Mortification + +. Hope you are okay today. That moment will haunt you! But you can tell you are not alone, every woman has had some similar horror story. At least you weren't in 'public' like Walmar, JC Penny's or somewhere posh. Now breath and let it go, and enjoy your exercise.

A little story to hopefully make you feel better knowing you are not alone. A few years back, I was at a friends condo and we were all swimming and the pool was full of people. Needless to say, I was so humiliated, yes red water. You sure can't hide that.rolling eyes.

Let's just say... I often see people wiping down the machine's handles and dashboards (for germs and sweat), but I never see people actually wipe down the foot pads ... I am pretty sure a few people wondered what the heck I was doing! I can actually laugh about it now... a little, but this morning's trip to the gym was VERY UN- Eventful!!! Thank God!

I really wanted to.. I was like 17 years old so I knew all of their older siblings because it was a small town pool. Nothing quite like it honestly lol. I can look back on it now and laugh bit it took a long time to not die just thinking about it.

Oh, poor Paula!! I, too, take those things so to heart, I would've been tempted to try to walk out of the gym with my gym bag over my head or something. Now THAT might be something that eveyone would have noticed!! LOL!! But, everyone else is right, probably no one noticed and even if they did, I'm sure they've moved on to other things to think about by now. But, this brings to mind a much larger issue...the days of potential pregnancy are NOT over just yet!!!

Oh, Sandy...now there's the ultimate optimist in you!! LOL! No, not quite over yet, I guess.

Someone tell me PLEASE - why should we feel mortified over a natural function that everyone knows can be so unpredictable?

Paula, I am so sorry that happened to you. I haven't had a period for over a year, and am hoping I never do. Belss your heart, that must have been just horrid and I know how you feel. When I was pregnant with my youngest, I was at the children's hospital with my daughter, standing there talking to the nurses and a doctor when I felt something odd and looked down and there was blood everywhere. Of course, they could do nothing for me there, it was a children's hopsital, so I had to walk through the hospital, down the elevator, out the lobby, across the street and through the parking lot, in the middle of the day, and drive myself to another hospital, 30 miles away. I didn't want to even go back to the children's hospital, ever! Thank goodness the only thing that was said, was to ask if I was okay. Hugs to you, Paula!
