Good Morning Buddies and enveryone else on FS.

The weekend was decent, but it appears that Winter has returned to Southern New England. I was watching a Red Sox Spring Training show Sunday Morning and my wife asked why we've never been to Florida for Spring Training. When I told her that I had been (March 2003, Reds at Red Sox. I saw Ken Griffey Jr., Pedro, Manny, and Nomar on the same field, and my ticket was only $15.), she actually got sad because I didn't take her. Say nothing of the fact that WE HADN'T MET YET (Let alone started dating)!!! Also this is her busy time of year where she's always traveling.

My rate of loss has slowed dramatically (22# in Dec., 14# in Jan., only 8# so far in Feb.). I think it had something to do with being really overweight to begin with. and As my body gets closer to a more natural size, the harder it is to lose. That may be why the last 10 pounds are the hardest.

I now (officially as of yesterday morning) have those last 10 to go until my first goal. I didn't do myself any favors over the weekend. I still lost a couple pounds but it certainly has more to do with the work I put in during the weekdays. The weekend is over and done with, and I can focus on another productive week, weight and otherwise.

Have a great day everyone and I'll talk to you soon.

So I have a hunch you're a baseball fan. Call me astute! LOL Why do we [women] - yes I'll include myself - do that? Didn't you know, CMR, that you were destined to be together and therefore should have sought her out to bring her? By now you should be a mind reader as well as a fortune-teller HAHAHA! Anyway, I too am looking forward to a productive week on FS. You've made really great progress so keep doing what you have been!

I've always wanted to go to spring training games. I always see good offers to go down there. I usually try to make it to Atlanta for a weekend series every year. Been a big Braves fan my whole life. I know what you mean about the last 10 pounds. I had no problem burning weight off like nothing towards he beginning but these last 10-15 are brutal!

Dsy-There is hardly a true sport that I don't like. There are a few that I prefer over others (Baseball, Football, Basketball), but I really enjoy the competition... Tap-If you ever do go, make sure it's more toward opening day. There's a better shot at seeing the big leaguers play most of the game. My buddies went to Atlanta a couple years ago. I couldn't go and still have to knock it off my list. I'd love to go back down to Fort Myers. The Sox are building a new training facility so maybe when that's up and running. I typically can't go to ST either because this has historically been my busy season too. I avoided it in 2003 because I had a week off in between jobs. I flew to Miami to visiting friends for the week and took a day to drive 2.5 hours there and back.

Women are fickle creatures. I do not understand the appeal of baseball or basketball on TV or in person I would much rather play ball than watch it ...but to each their own lol AS for the wieght loss I think you have hit the nail on the head, as we get closer to our goals the harder the weight will be to come off, just keep doing what you're doing and eventually you will get there!

I understand that Pixi. Much like our lifestyles, everything is not for everybody. I like watching baseball in person because I like watching the players in the field before the pitch. The TV shows the pitcher, batter, and catcher primarily. I've always found the intricacies of the games more interesting than the general play. Take Care!!!
