Hello Everyone! I have not done this in almost a week so i thought it would be good to write and let everyone know whats going on.
I had a wonderful week. Although i failed one of my challenges because i got sick and just could not do the exercises, i am doing well with other exercising.
I have started walking every morning when i drop my kid off at school. One day i done 4 laps around the track(1 1/3 miles) the next day i done 6 laps (2 miles). I wasnt even out of breath i felt i could walk all day.
I also got a job on Thursday. I start tomorrow.
I think not having a job has been a lot of my problems. I have been depressed from staying at home so i would eat.
I thought about creating my own challenge but i dont know how or what to do..LOL..So i am going to make a challenge to myself.

Challenge!!

1. I must walk no less than 6 laps around the track (thats 40 minutes of cardio) at least 5 days per week.

2. Because i am tired of flabby arms and belly due to weight loss its time to trim up. Crunches 100 and Push-ups 100 and 50 side crunches to the left and 50 side crunches to the right.

3. Drink 8 plus glasses of water perr day.

4. Eat! I must EAT! Limit my carbs.Eat my carbs in the morning because of working out. At lunch have light carbs like whole wheat bread! But the rest of the day snack on fruits and veggies and at dinner eat lean protein with a large salad or other non starchy veggies!

5. Limit my soda and splenda. Right now i probably consume 16 packs of Splenda in a 24 hour peroid. So, i will have my coffee with my Splenda and NO MORE SPLENDA until the next day!

6. Weigh in Every Monday! and Post a BEfore and After Pic in my journal.

7. I must journal everyday! No excuses! I will record my workouts and food in my Food Diary and Exercise Diary. I will record how i feel and my daily Challenges in my Journal!



Ok That does it...This is going to be difficult. Especially #4 and #5!

I am not starting until tomorrow (03-23-09) so if anyone thinks this is a good Challenge and wants to jump on with me let me know and i will for it into one and make it Public!!!

Dana congrats on the job and for the discovery with what you think will help you the most! For me that would be a lot of "I will's and I won'ts' for the week and I'm afraid I might get depressed and beat myself up if I missed any of those items. I just added 1 thing each week and that way I kind of knew what helped the most. I think it's a great to have a road map to success, and this sounds like a good one for you. I'm sure others would join this as a challenge. Glad you're feeling better!!
