I hate running. I have a week and a half until I have to run my first 5k, and my goal is to not have to walk any of it, and jog the whole thing. At this point, I don't think it is going to happen. I hate running. I cant help it, I just feel like its the worst thing in the world sometimes. Its boring, its painful, and its frustrating. I keep telling myself that I am slowly going to start loving running, but at this moment in time, I don't think I will ever love it. Cardio in general just kind of sucks (except zumba).
On the flip side though, I absolutely love lifting. Weights, specifically. Last week I worked out with my trainer, and she actually worked out with me because shes training for a few weight lifting competitions this summer. I would rather deadlift a million pounds than have to run a mile. I just get such a satisfaction from it, and even though its hard, I always find a way to push through. Pushing through is not as easy with running.
My weight loss is slowing down lately. The first three months went really well, but now I'm starting to slow down, which is less than ideal. I know realistically I cant expect to lose as much as I did the first month, all the time. Also, I'm severely lacking on my self control still. Sugar is not my friend, and I need to remember that, but for some reason I cant. I also eat out a lot more than I did the first three months, and I always eat more than I should when I eat out. I need to get back on my salmon and brown rice diet, for sure.

Yay for almost being overweight as opposed to obese!
