Leslie Sansone is the devil, or at least she is to me today. I haven't actually exercised in over 6 months. I just did the 3 mile power walk with Ms. Sansone, and I almost threw up. *laughs* I wanted to quit so many times through the video. I nearly gave up toward the end of mile 2, but I pushed through taking a 30 second breather!

I made myself eat 3 egg whites after the workout for the protein replacement. I'm not sure that was a very smart move, but time will be the judge of that. All I had in my system beforehand was coffee that I made at work before I got off at 6:30 this morning. I needed something to warm my insides before braving the 20something degree weather we got blessed with last night. I had forgotten my jacket when I left the house as it was 70 yesterday. I'm sure I'll get some notes about how I should be happy with my weather, but I'm from South Louisiana. We don't do cold well.

I work 60 hours a week and sit on my rear most of the night at work. Hell, I sleep most nights at work. I take care of a 92 year old gentleman who is bed-ridden. When he sleeps, so can I. I don't really care for being so sedintary with my job, but you do what you have to, to make ends meet. This job allows me to be home during the day for my son when he doesn't have school or has some function requiring parental involvement at school. My husband works a steady 8-5 job in the oilfield. Taking off isn't always an option for him. He also goes offshore when needed which puts a crimp in our lifestyle. We work through it though with the help of family and friends.

We currently live with my in-laws which makes that part of our existence easier and every other part more complex. We're hoping to be in our own home by next summer (2012). Our son desperately wants a dog, and since my mil is afraid of EVERY animal and my fil is a Vietnam veteran with a low tolerance for animals, it's not an option currently.

In retrospect, I lost total control of my weight upon moving in with my in laws. There is no blame being laid, mind you, it just happens to be the time at which I feel like I lost control of everything.

*sigh* I'm getting it back though.

This is exactly what these journal's are for! Get things off your chest so that you can deal with YOU & what your body needs! Hopefully some of these things will balance out soon! Good girl for working through the exercise!
