I was doing some low carb bread searches, and found one with only 1 net carb! It cost 7.99 for a 14 slice loaf.
Has anyone developed a bread recipe with only 1 net carb?
I just bought a bread machine, since I'll be eating low carb for the rest of my life.I have a recipe book that has what looks like a wonderful recipe. It has ground almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and I can't stop thinking about it. I think it's 6 net carbs a slice.
But I was blown away with the 1 carb bread. Anybody have a recipe?

Dana Carpender's low carb cook books (500 low carb recipies and 500 more low carb recipies) both have bread machine recipies in them. The per slice carb count varies but they are all pretty low. If you have a Trader Joe's near your area they have a sprouted grain bread that is low carb and only 4 net carbs per slice. The price isn't bad and the bread is really good. It comes in wheat, 7 grain, and rye. I think it's going to be hard to find a bread that low in carbs for a lower price. I would try searching for that bread through other outlets. Also, you might try contacting the company that makes it to see if they offer bulk rates. If so, you can see if you can get some friends to go in on a case.
