I once spent 10 days in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Had so much fun and the food was really good. One of the docs I worked with armed our group with names and phone numbers of his family and friends who took us to some of the greatest back street restaurants that we otherwise would never have found. He cautioned us to not remind them that he was a doctor because he was the “black sheep” of the family because all of his other siblings were preachers.
