Today I am proud.

Last weekend I went back home to KC for my dad's surgery and a wedding... You can imagine the fun combination of stress and celebration. This included lots of Missouri food (fried, large, and very delicious) and above all - ALCOHOL. Ugh.

After all of this madness, I got back on track as soon as I returned. This week, I've not only been eating healthy like I've been doing for the majority of this year, but I've also been to the gym twice this week already (HUGE for me). This brings me to the "proud" moment - I was going to skip gym today because I've been so good, and I don't know if it was a mixture of crazy, habit, or a newfound love for myself that I packed my gym bag. Which means I'm going today too.

Go me.

So my next goal is to be thinner by Valentine's Day. The boy and I are going to New Orlean's celebrating 3 years together... my longest relationship EVER!! I know the kind of delicious food that exists in the South - especially New Orleans - so I have to stay on track until then.

Oh, and Spain in May. Yeah, that's when I'd like to reach goal. One thing at a time!!!!
