Still cannot weigh in or add historical weights. Weight today 160. I just want this trend to continue! :)

Almost broke out the UGH Index today....imagine that! On December 5, no less! Wow. Temps in the 70's with exceptionally high humidity and little to no breeze. Makes me wish we had that new heater on the pool right now. The water temp is probably still in the 50's, although I haven't checked it recently...WAY too chilly to even make an attempt to go in. (EDIT: I was right, water temp is 56 degrees.)

Walked 3.1 miles with one doggy, other one made it 1.7 miles before I retired her back to the house, due to the higher temps and humidity. She got a clean bill of health for her annual check-up this week. The vet seems impressed that at over-9 years of age she's doing so well AND this is with a heart valve condition, as well. The only key to her age is her ever-expanding grayness that's making her look salt-and-pepper rather than black, with a touch of gray.

I don't have any specific appointments in the schedule today, so I'm free to go get the Christmas decorations and finally get something on this tree that we bought last weekend. So far, I've only added water - LOL!

160 - that's great, that's 4 lb down from your last recorded weigh in. And glad that your babies are so well and so healthy. Kudos on rocking your plan.

Thanks Issy. I am constantly cautioning myself to enjoy this "while it lasts" because I know it WILL slow down. That's when the real motivation and perseverance is needed!

Great job with the loss, Sandy! We had temps of 69 yesterday and it's 27 today. Only here can you go from flip flops to snow boots in less than 12 hours!!! lol Have a great rest of your day and enjoy decorating that tree!

Stef, those wild weather swings make it tough on laundry....partially worn shorts, t-shirts, jeans, fleece tops, etc.!!! Makes it hard to know what load is a priority. Hope you're taking a rest day from all your DIY projects.

Bren, my female Lab is really the dog of my heart, so I want her to live forever. Sure, she can be quirky, but I've never had such an affectionate puppy! She's still affectionate now, but better mannered! I've had more fun and laughs with her than any of our other dogs....that's why she's got her own special place in my heart. :)

Wish your 'kids' could live forever. That's the worst part of having pets; they don't live as long as we do, and every time we lose one, we lose a part of our hearts. I have lost two cats already but this one, that we have now, will totally devastate me when he leaves me. Unbearable to think about so hoping your doggy child lives much, much longer.

Sandy I felt that way about my poodle..thats why I gave her insulin shots for 5 years and other meds...I had to keep her as long as I could..We had other dogs too..a Rottie and she got cancer and then there was Burrdog..he got hit by a car..we couldn't keep him from chasing them...he had been dropped off at our house and we took him in..such a cutie..So I can understand how you feel...they become our constant in life...:O)
