New personal record for a 5k - 28:57, 9:21 per mile average! I feel good about this since I didn't run since last Monday or Tuesday.
My boyfriend finished in 24:something. He has longer legs, by a lot, so I'm telling myself it doesn't necessarily mean he is that much more fit than me :p
It was a fun race though, more hills than I'm used to so I'm that much more pleased with my time.
I made travel plans and this time next week I'll be sitting in a resort hotel room in Reno preparing for my interview on Monday. Or maybe exploring. I do have to decide if I could live there if I'm offered the job after all ;)
