Well. I think I'm up again... over my goal. I can't be sure, but I do know I've been cheating a little on my food, eating too much carbs, not enough protein, and not working out hard enough. I need to start getting back on track, so my goal today is to do NO CHEATING. Not ANY. I did a bad thing by not using all my sugar free chocolate chips in the cookies I made for the Hog Roast last Sunday, and now I'm eating them left and right. Not to mention, eating more Sugar free Ice cream than I should. Alright, so today is back on track. My biggest problem is - that my food on the "go" is all carbs - granola bars, apples, fruit cups, packs of crackers. I don't have any veggies at the moment except lettuce (we are down to the bare bones, it's time to go shopping for fresh food again), so I'm kind of stuck. I think that's what makes my carbs so high is not only am I getting the bad carbs from cookies and stuff like that, but I'm getting good carbs from fruit... but it still adds up to a lot.

I can't stop thinking about a friend who got a surgery that I would literally kill someone for... I'm really excited for her, and I'm glad shes doing well, but I'm envious, lol. I've been thinking about trying to get a bit of surgery to fix a few areas on myself that have been bothering me since I was a teenager, and now that I've lost ~45lbs, I can see that those things in particular, aren't really changing a ton. Now, granted, even after all this, I STILL hate working out, so I'm sure if I was a person who loved it, I could REALLY push and change SOME of it myself (but some of it is genetics, I can't change that)... but I also want to keep living my life in the same manner as now - which means that basically, I work out a little, eat what I want within moderation, and feel okay... it's a struggle. I don't think my friend took the easy way out either - that's not what I'm saying. She worked hard and basically is fixing some things that genetics are responsible for, and I want to do the same. I'm trying to start researching it now, because it'd be a really really awesome christmas gift to myself in a few years... lol

SQ, I think that you are doing fantastic. As for "fixing" a few things, no one's body is perfect. If you are really determined to surgically fix your problem areas, make sure you research thoroughly. If you are planning on having children, I would wait until you are done to fix those areas. Have a great day, SQ.

Very good points ctlss, and thanks for the boost of confidence! I appreciate it. I'm definitely doing a LOT of research, including talking to people I know who've had different procedures, talking to doctors, references, and it's nothing I would rush into. As for the kids thing, I can rule that one out because IF I ever want kids (which I don't really, but if things change), I'm going to adopt (since I was adopted). BUT, it's an important point to consider, no matter what! Thanks hun! :)
