A big CONGRATS on the PhD!! My daughter is just starting her honors program to do her Masters. It’s such a early beginning but to listen in on some of her zoom conference this week with other Masters students presenting from all over the world, and to be a part of worldwide research on breast cancer is AMAZING!! I’m sure you’ve travelled the same road to your PhD!! It is long and far from easy. It was worth celebrating!!!!! I’m just curious, what was your thesis?

To those who asked - I am environmental scientist and my thesis was on noise pollution management. Noise is often an ignored pollutant, but be beware of it.

Ohhhh I like this topic! When there’s certain types of mouse, I get this loud troublesome thump inmy ears. Pollution alright!! Like for example, I cannot sleep with the sound of a ticking clock or even a watch, it sounds like a thousand drums to me and I almost feel sick. Weird I know but even if hubby left his watch in our bedroom at night, I KNOW. It has to be removed. 😳

congratulations on your hard work. Noise pollution is so real. I moved because if the wind was blowing just right, we could hear a major airport come to life about 4:30am. That on top of busy highways forced us to find someplace much quieter.
