Well, it’s day 3 of the great experiment, and my second day of actual strength training/shake/juice combo. I’ve decided that I love the way drinking real 100% fruit juice after any workout makes me feel, might drop it down from 6 oz to 4 oz, just to try and save a few more calories. Still waiting for the ‘aha!’ moment for the protein shakes. It’s just too soon to tell. I will say I did close to the same workout today that I did on Monday (without a shake) and when I got out of my car at work, I wasn’t stiff at all. And I clearly remember being surprised at how stiff and tight I was on Monday after the same drive. So here’s hoping the benefits are quantifiable and justify the money and calories.
