It’s day 3 and I feel like punching the wall. Cousin called the fam over to watch the pats game... and my father said yes. Ughhhhh!!!!
My plan is to tell them I’m not feeling well..and I’ll just eat the salad if they have any there. Need to plan how to work around eating the allowable foods without letting anyone know I’m dieting!!!!

Help me God!

Hang in there! Have a plan you can stick to for the event. Count the calories so you know exactly what you eat and how much you eat. This is a long journey and you can learn from every experience. Good luck!

Thanks so much! Yeah I think I’m just gonna say I have heart burn lol that’ll do it. So that way no one forces me to eat any of the fried food.

I used heartburn as an excuse and was able to say no to a lot of the junk there. I can relax now that the pats aren’t going to the Super Bowl. I went over my 1200 calorie limit but not that much. So I’m ok

I tend to tell people that those foods don't agree with my stomach, and usually people will stop pushing the food. Then I can just enjoy some vegetables or whatever is healthiest looking.

Take your own food. I’m thinking a veggie platter and a salad be proactive

A strategy I use is to bring a wonderfully flavored herbal tea to sip on (chamomile + lavender is my favorite)
