good stuff. why not as much as 600 calories? also try no breakfast. I do IF on my regular days. 

I do a modified fast for 2 non-consecutive days a week (limit intake to 500 calories on those days). It's working so far. I have a 250 calorie breakfast and a 250 calorie dinner. On non-fasting days I eat sensibly. The fasting days are easier than I thought.  

I just started this. I still have 200 calories to spend at 4 pm 

what is IF? 

IF is intermittent fasting. There are different methods but they all basically require an extended fasting period, commonly 16 hours, followed by a feeding period of 8 hours. It's really helped me break the habit of feeling hungry all of the time. It makes fasting for 5:2 much easier. I'm fasting today. I ate lunch and I will eat a light dinner. 

Tomorrow is my 500kcal day I have kale chips on the menu, and sugarfree pistachio pudding for my evening sweet. and then go to bed early!

I love homemade Kale chips! I'll definitely include them on my next 500 cal day. Thanks for the reminder, valentcm! And I'll try the sugar free pistachio pudding. I usually have sugar free jello (10 cal.) for my dessert on the fasting days. I also go to bed early on those days because late night eating is my downfall.  

Going to bed early is my trick too. I have been meaning to make kale chips. I'm growing kale in my garden this year.
