Okay so I have not been on in a couple of days because I did not want anyone to know I was human and screw up. It took 3 days to look in the mirror and say, "you screwed up so move on." I am ashamed that I could not even make it a month. I DID NOT EAT to many carbs or sweets. I ate WAY to much food. Nothing I was not supposed to have but never the less, I feel like I have failed. The support on this site has been wonderful but it does not fix my binging choices. I was told if I did Adkins that I would eventually not crave the carbs. Guess what? I STILL do. It has been 17 days. Yes I know I have lost an incredible amount of weight but still craving the carbs.....No, just one carb. I love pasta. I love spaghetti. I usually have it twice a week. I have not had it in 17 days. I am not going to break but when does the brain realize that those things are no good for you??

You picked yourself up. Good job! Pick up the pieces and move on. The next choice you make ....make it a healthy one. Not famliar with arkins. But can you "plan" to have pasta in a healthy way? We all make not so good choices. You are /trying and that is fantastic!

We all mess up, so well done for coming clean. Can you not have a planned day where you have one or two carbs meals in a week? You would have to still watch your portions and keep it lean, but if you think you can control yourself why not? I believe moderation is a more realistic approach to eating in the long run. But, in this weight loss journey whatever you can stick with is the best one for you. You go girl - you can do this!

It gets better, I promise it does. It's a little like breaking an addiction. You may backslide but as long as you recognize the mistake and move on, you're continuously moving forward. Don't beat yourself up. Just move forward. It took me almost 2 months to quit craving bread. You'll get there, I promise.

This is a process. I liken it to being an addict. The cure for an addict is too never have the drug or engage in the behavior again. You can't go that with food. You will have good days and bad days. The important thing is that you are having a lot more good days. I have been watching what I eat for more than 5 months. I still have bad days, but the good days I have managed to string together resulted in a lot of weight gone. You can do this!

You only fail when you stop trying. Have you looked into Miracle Noodles? The angel hair pasta is very nice, and so is the rice. It's not actually pasta, it's thickened yam goo. No calories, no carbs, just fiber. I like to mix it with spaghetti squash and smother it in cheese and tomato sauce cut with cream. Also, meatballs.
