Consider yourself slapped! (haha)....its only Wednesday night, you have many more days to get it together for this week. Stop beating yourself up so much. A few bad days does not a bad month make (saying goes something like that).... Its day 1 of a new month, so it is another new beginning! I treat each week or each month as a new reset period to try again or keep progressions. Just refocus, log your food, research if needed, then reapply your findings. You got this, those curves are noticeable and ready for summer, anything else is just improvement and added success. Your on a roll, no time to throw in the towel after coming so far! ;)

@Sharons Victory, the Quest Bars sweetness may be triggering cravings. You try to prep a week's worth of meals on the weekend, but maybe that doesn't give you the menu diversity you need. What about planning and stocking the kitchen for the week but building in more variety for each day? [CONTINUED]

I'm thinking of meals (no snacks) consisting of grab-and-go, simple whole foods: hard-boiled eggs, cold chicken, tuna; a *small* container of mayo (or something that fits your WOE) for dipping; raw, crunchy, quick-to-cut-up vegetables; a measured portion of frozen berries thawing and ready to eat as a "sweet reward" when you get home for dinner.

Also, change up the mental approach: No more "I'm sick of this" or using words like "binge," "frustrated," and "failure," or asking for (even figurative) corporal punishment. Clean up that stinking' thinkin', as they say in the 12-step programs. Prepare for success and positivize!

Sometimes I’ll do an extended fast like 20 hours to put myself in an eating timeout. Could help 🤷‍♀️

When you find your slapper, send them my way, too, Sharon! I'm out of control!

Sharon, you can do this. You know what to do. If it's that you need a break or extra self encouragement or something in between, you can figure it out and get to it. Don't sell yourself short. Go back and read some of the positive self talk you've posted. This is not a major stumble, it's just a bump. ❤

Yeah, that is frustrating, I know well. But the context is that you're extremely consistent compared to some of us, and have made a huge change. I think it's really important to take what you do *most* of the time as the truth. Some folks focus too much on their hits when their misses are more frequent. But the opposite is wrong too -- you're winning the majority of the time, try not to dwell on the the flukes unless a pattern emerges.

I too could use a good slap now and again but a virtual slap just doesn't have the same sting to it so...guess I'll have to slap myself!!

How much do you want to undo before you’re ready to progress again?
