So, today's my first day following macros.
I didn't do as well as I hoped I would.

I wanted a ratio of about 37% protein, 45% carbs, and 17% fat
I ended up with a ratio of 20% protein, 47% carbs (not bad), and 33% fat....

It was an interesting experience though. I think I know what my plans are for tomorrow. Depending if college is canceled or not due to the horrendous weather outside and storm warning. Probably won't though, because why not be the only college to not close campus in the surrounding counties? Done it more than once lol.

You do know that what dictates weight loss is calories, focus on that and once you master that add the focus on macros 👍🏻

Yes, I'm well aware. That's why I'm trying now. I started out at 140 pounds about 3 or 4 years ago.

Just read ur under on protein oh yes that one is important for the muscle (not weight) Meat, beans, eggs, soy food are a good source

I practiced a lot before I was finally "doing it for realsies" and this will just help you find what works for you! I can't quite seem to lose weight on the "normal" RDI for my gender, height, weight, etc. So even a failure teaches us things!
