It can take time to figure out what macro's work to help promote weight loss. also calorie intake for reduction. I was down to 900 to 1100 on average with working out. After several weeks and 20 pound loss I stalled and had to raise it to the 1300 to 1400 range and back to losing weight. going to low for too long can be a problem too. I use a keto site to calculate my calories at sedentary and then figure out the macro's. Some keto sites recommend 50gm of protein and I find that way to low and especially with exercise. I try to stay in the 70 to 85 range depending on how much I am working. that works for me and I lose weight. You will be adjusting trial and error to find what magic works for you. the constant is keeping your carbs down. Fingers crossed you see your weight loss next week.

Try taking weekly measurements with the tape..my shape/size changes as I lose the fat, even if the scales are the same 😉

Thank you! I will take measurements as I can see that I have lost inches in the past two weeks and people have commented that I look like I have lost weight. I have also lost 25 pounds since January of this year so I think my body is resistant to let go, I tend to plateau every 10 pounds or so. I really appreciate all of the experience and insight on this site.

Like baskington said, play around with your macros. When I increase fats quite a bit, I lose more with keto. And it helped me to lower my carbs to 20g total instead of net. Be sure you’re eating enough. Best of luck to you!!

What matters are the calories

Are you sure, 100% sure you are on a caloric deficit? 🤔

When I first started Keto I indulged in alcohol because it has no carbs. At some point I hit a plateau. I'd suggest taking a week or two off of that and see how that helps. I added alcohol back in shortly thereafter, but it helped with my stall and reset my tolerance a little bit.

I'm not on keto so I can't give any advice but good luck and just keep up the good work - the weight WILL come off!

Hey these things take time. Don’t worry about the results initially. When I was in my KETO phase I didn’t lose anything the first month. My weight remained the same while hitting all my correct macros. My body wasn’t efficient at that point. I stuck with it and in 1 1/2 months I lost 22 pounds! It’s all a process. Trust it!

Momma I had to do that too, I might get away with a day of net but I seem to do better less carbs

As long as your logs are complete everything in there looks good. Hang in there!

@rosio +1 Two weeks is plenty of time to see if your diet is working. Def would expect to see a significant drop (water weight + fat) over the first 2 weeks for anyone starting keto. 100%. If not dropping, I would want to understand why and adjust accordingly. Most likely answers for not losing water weight are that either you were previously low carb, or that your carbs are higher than you think. Most common answer for not losing fat is that you are not in a caloric deficit. What are your average daily calories over the last 2 weeks? (I can't see your food log.) All the online calorie calculators overestimate. A good guideline is 9 calories per pound of TARGET body weight. Titrate down as needed when the scale doesn't move.
Let's go! #getserious #grindtime #stayhungry #alwaysdiet #inspiringAF

I agree two weeks is enough to see some change, I would go for 3 weeks (just to give it my all)

I started keto in January and it took a little bit for the weight to start coming off. It took time to gain it, it will take time to lose it. Dont worry about calories, on keto you dont have to watch them. Just make sure your macros are right. Try to shoot for 5% or less of your daily intake to be carbs. Make sure the fat you are consuming is 70-72% and that you arent eating too much protein. It will happen, just be patient. Our bodies are amazing machines, and sometimes need a little more time to get going. You've got this, dont worry!!
