Running has became my thing 😁 Still not fast or far (around 3 miles 35 min with walking every 5-7 min for a min or two) but technically I pass PA state police running portion of fitness test 😂 1.5 miles in 16 min 21 sec, goal is under 17 min 48 sec. haha. Don’t ask me how it all happened. I used to hate running. Buuuuttt. I feels so amazing when you’re done.

3 miles in 35 min is avearge. but whats most important is you're doing it!! my last 5k, i ran in 32 minutes. my results put me dead in the middle of the pack (12,000 runners) i was just proud to have not stopped!

It is possible to lose, maintain and gain weight without exercise. There is no need for the all or nothing mentally. One feels n looks better exercising but exercise does not dictate ones weight

Rosario, I started loosing weight once I stopped going 5 days a week lifting weights and killing my self on cardio close to 2h each time. I injured shoulder, non workout related, naturally moving less. Started adding protein, eating less carbs and weight started coming off. I’m working out for other reasons like stress management etc. It’s totally possible to loose weight without exercising. Isn’t it something like 80% nutrition and 20% exercise anyways?
Running has became a mental thing. If I master this I can do anything. It’s easy for me to become obsessive about anything so that’s an other part of my journey; Obsess less. 😁. You’ve done an amazing job on your loss!

The thing is u are aware of the “obsession” most (I did it, I get it, that’s why I struggled) are in denial they do not face their inner demons so they keep dragging them along

Oh yes. I’m way past the guilt and the blame of “omg, I ate an ice cream I’m such a looser”. What I mean is that it’s taken me a lot of self discovery to find out why I used to be so obsessive and self destructive. Sugar and carbs used to be my addictions, my choices when happy, sad, mad. Now I talk to myself out loud like “lady, really? Weren’t you the one just crying over gaining 40lb?” 😂 what do you really want? Oh you’re tired, oh you’re stressed, oh you’re dehydrated”.
I cannot eliminate or forbid anything. I can not sustain that much past 3-4 weeks. But I have serious discussions with my “inner bitch that misses bread” when I feel I’m slipping into wanting to eat for no reason 😁. This time I’ve taken a much alternative route as I don’t eat much different than what I have been for the past few years. I’m tackling the emotional eating part of it and exercise helps. Sorry if my post is all over the place lol
