Took my first gentle run in a year on Tuesday eve. Finally have gained enough weight to add back a little more cardio (prior had just been walking so as not to burn too many calories, and doing yoga).
Running felt good! But, man...creaky, stiff joints and muscles. I think strength training is key when over 50! That’s going to be a big focus for the rest of summer—building up muscles...and staying limber.
