This was a small loss week, but every little bit helps. I have 44 pounds to go which sounds much better than 66 pounds for sure. I missed quite a few exercise days last week, but I'm back on schedule for this week. I've also started weight training, so I think my muscles are holding more water right now trying to heal. I was in such a bad mood yesterday, but within 5 minutes at the gym I was feeling so much better. I think it is a combo of the music I listen to and the exercise helping with the stress. I even slept much better last night.

Can't sleep for some reason so I thought I would add an entry. My weekend was much different than I expected. We postponed the living room renovation for rest and relaxing which was ok, but I was looking forward to getting it done. Saturday was, yet again, a bad food day for me and it wasn't even picnic food. We did outlet shopping and then stopped for dinner on the way home. I'm consistently burning more calories than I consume, but my fat and carbs are still too high as far as I'm concerned. I started this journey not to just lose weight, but to improve my overall health and outlook on life. Gotta start making better choices. I found some great buys and was able to buy some much needed smaller clothing. I even bought a swimsuit for the beach. First one in 8 years. : )

Woo Hoo! I fit into my new smaller jeans today. Still plus size, but just one step away from a regular size. I've gotten so many comments today about how great I look in clothes that actually fit. You know how it is when you have a lot of weight to lose and you don't want to keep buying new clothes, so you wait until your clothes are litteraly falling off before you spend money. LOL I just can't justify buying new clothes every size change,so I've been waiting until something is completely too big and then I replace it with something new, unless of course I find a great sale like these new jeans.
I'm looking forward to the long weekend. We are renovating our living room so I'll be staying away from everyone's picnics and parties. We'll have a cook out ourselves and then I control the food that we have and I get extra exercise from the renovations. Painting has to burn tons of calories....right?

ps. I did make it to the gym last night and had a great workout. Today I'm feeling so much better.

I'm really feeling overwhelmed and down today. I did lose almost a pound last week and after reviewing my food diary I see why it was so little. I was lazy with food choices and exercise last week. The last week of June is crazy busy in the insurance industry and I just couldn't find the time to get in the exercise every day like I've been doing. I think that's why I feel so down and stressed too. I am going to the gym as soon as I get home from work this evening and I'm leaving work on time. At this moment I think I'm going to take a walk over to the coffee shop and buy myself a nice fresh brewed coffee.

OMG I did it. I made it through the night without waking up for a snack. I had my evening snack at 8:30 and that was the last I ate until breakfast this morning. When the alarm went off this morning I thought holy crap it can't be morning already, I never woke up in the middle of the night. : ) Now if I can just keep this going I'll be good to go.
