Going down slowly...that's okay, but I need to really get my head in the game if I'm going to reach my goal. When there is only 10 or less lbs to lose (for me anyways) it requires that much more diligence and compliance to get it done. The warmer months are fast approaching, and I don't want to be uncomfortable in my summer clothes.

Deep breath...weight is up this morning. I decided to weigh myself before my weigh in reminder (yup, bad idea), but that's okay. The scale keeps you accountable and when your in losing mode it helps with the focus. I have to tighten up my eating.
I love watching the Olympics! Got my run in and now it's going to be a sweat pants day in front of the TV! It's just amazing what these athletes have trained their bodies to do. It makes my quest to lose 10 lbs seem ridiculously easy.

Not much of a loss as of today, but it's TOM right now, so there's that.
Feel very motivated and focused to get myself closer to my 120lbs goal. It's not a hard goal, so we'll see how I feel as I inch closer to it. The main thing is I'm in control and feel strong. I'm glad I decided to food track again as it is indeed very helpful. I would rather pay the price of discipline, than pay the price of regret (never reaching my goal); as we all have a price to pay whatever our choices may be.

Okay, my weight has surpassed the acceptable weight range of keeping it between 125 - 130, so I need to track my food again. I have been allowing myself to become too slack in the food dept. and my pants feel too tight! Bummer.
I can rationalize the scale gain as partly water weight, but it doesn't matter; mentally I know I need to be diligent again. Like all things in life; if we take our eyes off the ball things generally start to go downhill.
It sucks that I allowed myself to get so relaxed that I need to log what I eat again, but obviously I need the discipline.
Exercise-wise I haven't stopped my running, but I wont' be logging my activity as it's simply to tedious. I run 2-4 miles each session, 3-4 times a week, with a bit of yoga afterwards. That's it. I don't like running, it's just the most convenient and I stay motivated by knowing that it's good for me.
Today, is a new day and I will get myself back to 125. It's good to have a target date, so I will say by March 1st. Slow and steady progress. If this was closer to summer I would hasten that goal date, but fortunately I don't have to look at my summer clothes for a few more months - small mercies!

Alright, the weight is starting to creep up, but I'm not hugely concerned as I had too much carb yesterday. I can now reason with myself to step away from the ledge when my weight goes up a bit under certain circumstances. However, we all know how moreish carbs are, so I will keep the carbs limited today and eat cleanly again and the 2 extra pounds of water should be gone by next weigh in. I hate that "Weigh in Now!" alert.
I'm off to get ready for my run now and enjoy a relaxing Saturday with the family. I wish you all a lovely weekend!
