I'm not even sure if I trust my scales. They seem to be hopping up and down all over the place. I am trying out a fast day every once in a while, just to get into the rhythm of appreciating hunger. We just were not built to have constant and continuous streams of food available. So, I hope that my body will adjust to stop over-correcting (if that's whats happening) for temporary shortages. Having said that, I am finding that following fasting I struggle to eat the proper level of calories. It seems to naturally curb the intake level.
I am down into the 40s now, first time since November. I am hoping that will not jump around and I can keep on that trajectory, leaving the 50s behind. Fingers crossed I can keep the momentum, the onset of Spring helps:) Good luck all of you, keep strong :)

It seems ridiculous that at 150lbs this is where I was half a month ago - especially taking into account all the weights exercise and careful restriction/monitoring that have occurred in between. However, I am beginning to view the chart of these efforts as an undulating wave with a peak and a trough. If I look at it this way then this perspective shows that my peak was around the 155/156 in January and the trough was 152ish... and if I take that view on current efforts it looks like actually my peak is 152 with my trough reduced to around the 148/149 mark . I hope that I keep persevering. .. and come to see this fluctuating range drop entirely into the 140s. At the end of January this had seemed like an immediate eventuality but the ups and downs have kept me hovering outside of that goal, and it is dead tough to keep motivated when there is a lot of disappointment.
