Ok, my sodium levels are not what they appear today...although they are likely higher than normal, and higher than what they should be. I just can't find low sodium alternatives in the food database, so I chose based on similiar carb/fat and calories as the labels of what I ate... (but it threw the sodium way high!)

Will need to be sure to remember to push my extra water tomorrow and Monday... just to be sure to move it on thru!

Weekend is going smoothly... busy...but still alot of fun. Some shopping, some cleaning, some baking and some more shopping...but all in all... a good day!

Not trying to start anything, but did you know that the health data on sodium being harmful is as weak as the health data on saturated fats? I'm not trying to say that salt is good for you, but unless you have uncontrolled high blood pressure I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I agree with Buffy, I would not worry about the sodium today. Tomorrow will be different. Isn't it so that when we have more sodium we are more thirsty. The body's way to cope with the salt. It will be washed out and no harm is done. That said, our organism does not follow any standard. I bet if you would create the optimal meal, eat that every day you still would find fluctuation in weight. That's just how we are and I am glad we are so unique.

My personal experience with high sodium - is water retention! Uncomfortable Bloat! nothing more, nothing less... but easily shed thru increasing my water for a day or two...which is like you say, my body's own unique messages that I am thirsty and to drink more. ;) But that retention can show itself on the scale and be quite a shock to anyone not expecting it...which is why I mention it.
