I am really craving something sweet today. This hasn't happened to me in quite some time. Maybe a diet soda will help. Time to call the hubby and have him drag home a diet A&W. I've been drinking water all day. Wow...this seems almost harder than quitting smoking! Grrrr!

what about some sugar free jello or pudding? or sugar free hard candies, sometimes they help me get thru the tough times...and i always keep some jello in the fridge. good luck!

Stick with it! Be careful of the aspartame(or any sweetener) in the diet drinks. Research the Glycemic Index. It will give an idea why we have these constant cravings.Grrrroooaaannn!!!

I've been tempted to reach for a diet coke when I want something sweet too. It seems to make my mouth happy. What I figured out recently though is that it also makes my blood sugars crash and make me feel really hungry. If I don't have diet coke, I haven't been having hunger pains. With diet coke, I'm miserable come 3 o'clock. Now when I want sweet, I have sweet. Lately it's been a 100 calorie double chocolate vita muffin top. : )
