it happens to me almost every year. and it always turns out to be a cyst. They will re-scan you and then do a ultra sound. You'll be fine.

Ask yourself, "Would I rather they didn't call me and just assumed everything was OK?" Of course not! They're doing their job and want to be sure there's a clear view of that area so they can say, with confidence, that there's no problem. So, for now, as you say, "Breathe." Absolutely no reason to panic or begin thinking up all sorts of scenarios. One time, my own films were sent out for a 2nd opinion and it turned out to be all normal (odd, but normal!). Prayers coming your way that they can get a clearer picture (no pun) tomorrow.  

You will be just fine.. My cousin had this happen not even a year ago and it was just a fiberous cyst that was nothing to be worried about. Will keep you in my thoughts but I am sure it will be just fine!

You'll be in my prayers. I'm sure you will be fine. Sounds like a lot of ladies have this same experience, although I know you are still worried as I would be.

Paula - yes, just breath. I almost always have to have my mammograms done twice and it turns out to be nothing. 

I have a feeling it will be fine. but the fear that you have just hearing the request to come back for a second look is tremendous. I know how you are feeling and i will keep you in my prayers.  

I too know the feeling... I got called back a few years ago... It turned out fine. BUT keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway x

Yup, breathing is good...really good! I know exactly how you feel, as I just went through this in February. I was truely scared! All turned out well anyway, but I was worried anyway, as I am sure you are too. I hope & pray you hear the same good news I did!! 

I've had two mammograms since turning 40 (I'm not 42) and BOTH times, they called me back in for more pics or ultrasound. Both times, everything was fine. So, take a deep breath and relax; Don't worry before it's really time to worry. It's pretty routine for them to want a second look just to be sure they didn't miss anything, and most of the time it's just extra precautionary on their part, and everything is fine. So, I'm sure everything will be all right for you as well. Still...keeping you in my prayers...and sending hugs of encouragement and support your way. 

Paula - take a breath, and stay calm... Better to go back and re-check, which is probably nothing, but know you are staying on top of the situation. Prayers are with you for good news.

Wow! This is really a rather common recall! Makes me feel so much better to realize how frequently this happens. I am sure they are just being safe. Thank you again - YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

Morning Paula, hoping beyond hope that it is truly something simple. Lots of people, me included, have had that call and its been nothing. Fingers, toes, eyes, whatever, all crossed in hopes of great news.
