OMG! What a day. So sorry for your son, no fun for him. 

i hope your son recovers quickly!! my youngest son and the 6month old pup is sick! both were vomiting and im just trying to hold the fort down as its my spouses work weekend. 😮‍💨🫠😰 

😂 Oh wow! I still remember camping trips like that! Add an unexpected downpour during the emergency exodus while taking turns 'barfing' out the back window and you've got a memory that actually becomes a really 'funny' story (eventually)🤪! We didn't know you could 'toast' rice crispy treats! I'll have to tell my 'kids' about those. They're camping this weekend, too. It does help knowing your gear, set up, tear down routine, big time 👍 Hope you all feel better real soon 🥰

Personally I would totally be into the daytime camping idea. I much preferred going on all day "picnics" instead of sleeping in a hot damp tent at night. Love camping except the sleeping part. So hate that now your son and you are both sick!! Get well soon!!!!

LivinBreezy thanks yeah I have lots of those memories from childhood!! the most "memorable" was when we were tent camping in the Adirondacks and multiple tornados touched down and destroyed the camp. it even turned into a waterspout as it crossed the lake we were camping on. thankfully we were not in the dircect line of it as we hid in our suburban but there were campers that got completely thrown and destroyed and trees down everywhere. use the rice Krispy treats to replace the marshmallow in a s'more or eat it by itself 😁 my kids atill talk about last summer at lake george when a sever storm rolled in and we hid in my truck as the hail came down

WOW! Our families getting together on a camping trip wouldn't need ghost stories around the campfire at night with the real life 'terrifying' stories we've lived through!!! Did you ever notice right after the 'crazy' how peaceful and calm everything gets? Tip: I learned to wait until the birds start singing before moving about. They always seem to know if it's really passed by. 

Sorry your camping trip got cut short! Your heart was in the right place though. 🩷🩷

It's truly inspiring. It's unfortunate that your camping trip ended earlier than expected. Wishing your son a quick recovery. What an amazing family journey!

Otb i forgot what state you are in. Were you anywhere near where that tornado touched down last night? Camping pics look like fun. Used to love that when I was a kid but now my idea of camping involves a beautiful hotel with nice linens and a comfy bed with good room service if the need arises😂. Although thats been years and years ago also but coming up sometime in the near future. My very girlie auntie told me about 9 years ago she went camping with my uncle. I was so shocked. I could not imagine her getting into a tent. Then she proceeded to show me pix of their very fancy rv complete with 3 tv’s and multiple pop outs. lol. I told her she was a glamper. She didn’t know what that was so i mailed her a picture book on the topic. Such fun times brother.
