Sadly I only fasted a day last week. All circumstantial. A very sociable week with more than ever indulging. Saying that, my weight has remained stable and I'm enjoying a fast day today. Sadly, I'm sick with a horrible sore throat, so calories consumed were from two low-cal ready meals, not my usual veggie intake. Hoping to fast again on Friday and might sneak in a day on Sunday to make it a 4:3 depending on how I'm feeling. I need to shift my weight now to get to that 72kg pre-pregnancy weight. Too much partying going on this side! :)

Hey my new buddie! I see you're 20 pounds down since January. That's wonderful! Are you breast feeding? I would think you'd need the calories for your milk. Whether you are or not, I'm pretty sure that veggies are better than having nothing. Young mothers need to have energy. And protein too. My goodness. Its not about punishment. Nourishment!

Hi Kimberly, not breastfeeding. Baby was 2 months premature, so I was premature on the milk production side, even though I really tried for 5 weeks, so sadly, no calories needed for this. Saying that, you're right, mothers need energy and I suppose that is why I am not hard on my self at all on non-fast days. I just need to get back to my 2 fasts a week! :)
