@Just bananas…I do the frozen bananas w/out stevia but with the strawberries and blueberries, I prefer a little extra sweetness. I’ve played around w both and I think it’s the salty cottage cheese that makes it a little less sweet. When I eat strawberries and blueberries by themselves, I don’t add stevia.

@Jon415…same!!! …But w this recipe it’s way more protein than traditional ice cream and I only use my blender periodically…dishes are my worst chore anyway. Ugh!

I don’t mind dishes too much. I always look at it as another chance to burn some calories. Takes the chore aspect of it away a little bit. But I’ve sliced my fingers too many times trying to clean the blender blade. I just don’t mess with it much anymore. Miss the frozen fruit smoothies 🥲

It’s 108 w heat index in Arkansas. Been that way for 3 days but cooling off tomorrow. Sooooo…indoor WO only for now 🙄 I miss my outside walks!!

@Diane W…the recipe is above the photo in the description. @YOH…I prefer the taste better than traditional ice cream now because it’s not OVERLY sweet. I don’t taste the cottage cheese that much like I would just having it as a side. The fruit and stevia mask the cottage cheese flavor. It’s surprisingly creamy, thick, and delicious to me and when I use frozen fruit it’s ready to eat immediately. No need to freeze or use ice cream maker.
You’d prob have to try it and see if you like it because some people hate it. I enjoy it! It’s way more PROTEIN and gives that “ice cream” feel and satisfaction. It still has carbs but the whole fruit adds fiber and I include it within my macros I’m aiming for. For me, I allow around 130g carbs per day due to my diabetes, but many days I’m lower that that. I aim for no more than 30g carbs per meal (4 meals). My protein goal is 130g or more daily and usually averages 150g or so.
