Recipe: 1c unsweetened silk coconut milk (or your milk of choice), 2tbs Thai coconut cream (optional), 4tbs chia seeds, 1 stevia pkt, 1tbs SF maple syrup, 2tbs unsweetened cocoa powder (I used Ghirardelli’s Dutch processed), 1tsp vanilla extract, 2g coffee powder (also optional. Blend in a blender (also not necessary). Refrigerate for 2 hours (I did overnight).

I divided it into 2 servings. 176 calories each serving.

HAH !! I first read the recipe to be "4 lbs" of chia seeds, and I thought "WHAT ??". Then went back and read it again to correct my brain. Looks good. I assume the chia seeds give it some crunch ??

Bionici…I soaked the chia seed pudding overnight so not as “crunchy” as eating them raw. They do give a little “pop” or burst in my mouth after being soaked.

Storms Ive been making smoothies with one premade protein shake, a dozen frozen strawberries, 1/2-1 frozen banana and Hersheys zero sugar syrup. Ive tried adding cocoa but i just cant seem to get an actual chocolate taste. Is there something I can do or is that just my fat kid trying to get to real chocolate?

@YOH …I would try maybe adding 2tbs unsweetened cocoa instead of 1 and maybe a pinch of salt or ground coffee as these enhance the taste of chocolate. I only add either the strawberries OR bananas not both…the strawberries and banana together might overpower the taste of the chocolate.

I add 5 oz of a frozen fruit which adds up to about 5-6 strawberries 🍓 or so. OR 1/2 banana. Too much fruit might also be a reason the chocolate 🍫 isn’t shining through.

Will do. I was adding so much fruit because i have a hard time eating fruit on my own it seemed like a win win. I will dial it down tomorrow and see what happens

That looks delicious! I need to try this. BTW, StormsGirl, I only want my eggs with cottage cheese now. That's been a game changer for me. YoH, if you can get some, try adding instant chicory to your smoothie. It ups the chocolate flavor and has lots of good benefits. I ordered mine off of Amazon.
