Another weekend..another failed attempt at self control. LOL My housemates (mom & husband) have revolted and are once again brining junk food of all kinds into the house. I try to combat this with a little self control and healthier alternatives, but there is one, well more than one, snack that I have no control over...Pittsburgh Popcorn Company Caramel Corn. Heaven. We also went to dinner with the family last night (Chinese...another favorite) and then to the movie. It could have been much worse. I still burned more calories than I ate (by 29). I just got back from the local organic market though, so I'm fully stocked and prepared to launch a counter attack! This would be so much easier if I lived alone, but I don't, so I just need to accept that not everyone is on a path to healthier living. I'll do double duty at the gym today and look forward to the work week where at least my eating is more structured and controlled. : )
p.s. My headache got much worse and must have done something to my brain. I went back for a second helping of caramel corn. At least now it is all gone. I guess that is one way to get it out of the house. Sadly, my mom made yet another trip to the store and bought even more junk. I feel sick this morning. I think my body is mad at me for all the junk, so I'm off the crap immediately!
